SHOPPING

As I said in my previous post, I've been pretty crappy with money recently to say the least. I don't speak to my Dad in any way (for my own personal reasons) so naturally it came as a massive shock to me when he gave my younger brother £300 for me just the other week and £50 the week after. This was because he gave me nothing at Christmas and stopped my pocket money and child maintenance a while back so to be honest, I really should have got more, however, I was grateful for anything. Anyway, so since I got the money, I knew that because I rarely have money, I should try to save up. This did not really go to plan. I spent a good £240 on my early bird Reading Festival ticket, a LOT of money but well, well worth it. I went to Reading and Latitude Festival last year and I literally had the best Summer of my life and with Uni coming up this year and all of my usual lot going in different directions, I can't risk not having another Summer to remember! If anyone is wondering if it's worth the money and thinking about going to one.. GO GO GO! I can't express to you how much I think you should go! I mean, they're not everyone's cup of tea BUT there is something for everyone there and at the end of the day, it's an experience! The rest of the money suddenly went on the above items.

I have a bit of an addiction with buying cheap things from eBay recently, they're yet to arrive so I don't know if they're really crap quality but who cares, most of the items cost no more than £1! That will always be a bargain in my eyes. I've bought myself the above items, a cute little watch which cost £1.66 with free postage and packaging, a cute little gold daisy ring costing just 99p including postage and packaging and it's my best friends birthday coming up so I also bought her some dalmatian style Polaroid paper. My most recent purchase was the leopard top as shown above, with my student discount it only cost me £12.50 so I was properly chuffed. Then the other week I treated myself to those cute boots, which at just £3.50 from a charity shop were almost a steal! I also bought 'Oliver' on video for my little sister because we're old school.

I'm really excited for all my little bits and bobs to arrive, they should keep me happy for a while whilst I'm skint. There's so many other items I want but I really need to stop as it is beyond addicting. For some reason I can say no to items when I see them in a shop but when it comes to something online, I just can't stop myself. Does anyone else have this problem?! surely I'm not alone here.
So my advice to you would be that if you ever need to cheer yourself up, go onto eBay, type anything in, select 'buy it now', choose 'price range: lowest to highest' and thank me later.
