half term and a confusion of the male species

YES!! Is anybody else really happy that it's half term?! After this weekend, I really need a week off!

So as you may or may not know from reading my previous posts, I went out with my older sister and her best friend on Friday and that was a really good night! We were pre-drinking a lot as my sister made cocktails and jager bombs so by the time it came to actually going out into town, I was already pretty drunk! My sister is 26 and boy, can she drink! Constantly had a drink in her hand, honestly it was hard to keep up, I think I done an okay job though. It was a pretty interesting night involving boys that ended up confusing us all. Guys can be so confusing at the best of times.. don't get me wrong, I'm sure us girls are just as bad but they really do frustrate me!

The day after, I was feeling pretty crappy, (crappy is an understatement, I felt like my stomach had been poisoned), however, I still managed to go out the night after as well.. (I know what you're thinking, how?! I'm not sure, probably wasn't the best idea). Basically, my bestest friends and I decided we'd have a night in town together as we haven't done that in ages, so we started pre-drinking (by pre-drinking I mean I had a whole bottle of Vodka, again, I have no idea how I managed it) and then headed into town to meet our friends. I had another really good night which involved a lot of crazy dancing, falling over and generally making a bit of a show of myself! But hey, I have no shame (well, maybe a little bit). Don't you hate how insensitive guys can be when you're drunk? I'm singling out guys here because I've not known a girl to ever do this but I'm not saying they wouldn't. For example, last night when I embarrassingly fell over, all the guys start chanting "WHEYYYY" and "SHE FELL OVER SHE FELL OVER", I don't know if this is something that just guys in my area do or guys in general but I find that so insensitive.. not one guy stops to help you up. Makes the situation all the worse. Do the guys where you live do this? Maybe I need to move away. Of course, I just laughed it off and pretended I done it on purpose which probably made me feel slightly more embarrassed. I should just not drink.

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend, today shall consist of dying in my bed and watching lots of movies. I have a delayed two day hangover slowly taking it's toll on me. If you're on half term, enjoy it!

Note to self: if a guy is attempting to do some hip hop/street style moves in a club, do not go there. Oh, and catching up with someone does not usually involve tongues.

  1. getting drunk is good when you are only around your friends. where I live, nobody would even bother too comment on falling over the floor, they would just stare and laugh. next time be careful with drinking outside, let's say(hahah I apply it to myself as well!).
btw I nominated you for Liebster Award and New Blog Love!
