Spring OOTD

Hey guys!

Loving the weather we've been having today so I thought I would do a quick OOTD style blog post for those days it's not-too-hot and not-too-cold. Finding this dress from Asos really easy to chuck on with anything recently. I love fashion and dabbling with prints but I'm actually pretty low-maintenance when it comes to getting dressed. Mostly, I just chuck on whatever and hope for the best. You will likely find me wearing polka dots, stripes, chokers and usually a statement boot.

This wrap around dress is not typically something I would go for but I love the colours and you can't go wrong with stripes in my opinion (I'm a little bit too obsessed). I bought this dress a while ago but you know those outfits you sort of forget about and then you're reunited and it feels so good? Yeah, well now I can't get enough of it and I'm wearing the shit out of it. I think it's perfect for Spring where you can layer it up or wear it on its own. (In a lot of these photos you will notice Lewis taking pictures of me in the shadow... he has no choice but to be dedicated to the Instagram Boyfriend role).

The weather has been pretty bipolar recently but today was super sunny with a lil mix of wind, which is where my trustworthy faux fur comes in handy. To be fair, it was way too hot for this coat but it looked cute so I risked melting for it. This coat is a pretty old buy too, but super affordable from Missguided. If you haven't checked out Missguided's website, I highly recommend it. It's my go-to for cheap and cheerful outfits and the coats are of really good quality.

I'm forever wearing chokers. I honestly feel bare if I don't wear one now! This chunky choker from prettylittlething.com was a steal, you can get chokers super cheap anywhere these days to be fair. Primark are babes for chokers- not very good quality mind, but good for a couple of uses. If I'm not wearing a choker, i'm usually wearing a turtle neck.

I'm not a hat person, they don't suit me at all but I love this style of hat and it was only a few squid from Primark so I'm trying to make it work. I wish hats suited me, I'd love to wear beanies for days I can't be arsed to do my hair or in the winter wrapped up looking snug, but instead I just end up looking like an egg.

I haven't worn a backpack in so long as I usually just chuck my satchel-style bag across my
shoulder but since I mainly use that for work, I've just started wearing my faux leather backpack again and I forgot how comfy they are. This one was from River Island a while back, a lil bit pricey if I remember correctly but it's definitely seen its moneys worth. The only thing I don't like about RI bags is that some of them have the 'RI' tag on them and I find that a little tacky but as I said it's lasted me for years so I can't complain. One of the main reasons I like wearing my backpack is because I rarely take it off my back, I'm forever saying to Lew "can you please put this in my bag for me?", mwahaha.

I just went for some boring black boots today because I couldn't be bothered to wear heels and find some to go with the pattern on this dress but I still love these trustworthy Truffle bad boys.

Enjoy the sun people, lord knows it won't last long!
