Pretty Little Thing Wishlist

Hello guys! Recently I've been trying my hardest to get this blog off the grounds a little bit. Sometimes you can definitely feel as though you're talking to yourself.. What with my course at Uni being Multimedia Broadcast Journalism I'm getting a lot more practice at this whole blogging thing and I've really started to love it, but of course, it would be amazing if it could get noticed a little more and this is a positive start and great experience for my course!

Recently, as I was shopping on Pretty Little Thing's website, I noticed that they have a 'VIP blogger experience' and couldn't wait to hear what it was all about and decided to join in. The 'Kirsty black long blazer' is absolutely perfect and even though it's plain and simple, it's a statement for any wardrobe. This is something that could be teamed with pretty much anything and still work, exactly why I chose this for my look. It has a real LFW vibe and is so quick and easy to throw on over something.
I've decided to pair this beauty with the 'Rhianne black ripped boyfriend jeans', something I will live by is that you can never wear too much black, there's simply no such thing. Black is a block colour that is essential for any outfit and looks so good when contrasted with another colour. These jeans look super comfy but at the same time they make it look like you've made more effort than you probably have. I love the ripped effect and have been looking for a pair for myself for ages. My look so far has been quite 'Tom boy' esque, which is exactly what I was going for to show that you don't have to dress up every day and put heaps of effort into your appearance to still look good.
Next up I went for the 'Maryana pink long sleeve bodysuit', this is to add a subtle bit of colour to separate the amount of black in the outfit, adding a splash of personality. I personally love what bodysuits do to your figure, they hug your body and put emphasis on all the right parts. This slightly breaks away from the other more "masculine" items and shows off all your best assets. Paired with the high waisted boyfriend jeans, this is such an effortless outfit that creates a flirty, feminine look underneath the oversized coat that could hide your figure a bit.
Shoes can make or break an outfit. I decided to go with the 'Regan white cleated sole buckle sandals' which creates this monochrome look, again, adding a bit more colour to the whole ordeal. I love this chunky look sandal and they're so in right now. These are perfect for any occasion or weather and look especially cute with a pair of frilly or fish net socks depending on your mood!
To add the finishing touches to my outfit of choice, I decided to go for the 'Audrey black retro portfolio bag', I am in love with this bag and I think it goes so well with the blazer style coat I chose, it gives this professional S/S14 look as though you're of importance and is also just the right size for anything you could need.
Match this with the 'Laura black fedora hat' and you're all ready for a day out shopping or a night out to some pubs with friends.
Hope you all love my Pretty Little Thing outfit wish list I'm now going to be lusting over. Remember you can find everything I mentioned above if you head on over to: www.prettylittlething.com :-)
